An episode is created like an ordinary video, but with the series cast, style and world. All that is left is to frame the story.

Creating an episode

1

Open “Create a video” and pick the series

In the “Series” step, pick your series instead of “Standalone project”. A series that is still building its cast doesn’t appear in the list: wait until the portraits and voices are locked.
2

Describe the episode

Same field as for a single video: see Describe your idea. Write a story for THIS episode, not the account (the account is already in the series).
3

Set the connection and the cast

“This episode follows” and “Who’s in this episode” (see below).
Style, language, tone and number of characters are imposed by the series: the app explains it, an episode with the same characters in another style would be the worst of both worlds. The profiles and portraits are not regenerated, which is the main saving of a series.

Continuity between episodes

When you create the series, you choose a default, then offered at each new episode:
  • Standalone episodes: each episode makes sense without having seen the others. Only the characters, the world and the tone are shared.
  • Serial: each episode picks up where the previous one stopped. The AI receives the summary of what came before.
This setting is only a default. What really decides is the connection chosen episode by episode: “New story” (the AI receives nothing from the past, the episode stands alone) or “Sequel to episode N”. A series can therefore chain several sagas with the same cast. If the previous episode ends on a cliffhanger, the AI pays it off from the first seconds.
Only one episode can declare itself the sequel of another: the app flags when an episode already has its sequel.

Autopilot

The series’ “Autopilot” tab picks a topic from a queue and launches the episode on a fixed date. You set the publishing days, the time and the time zone, then the format, the engine, the length of a part (from 10 to 240 seconds) and a monthly cap in credits (empty: no cap). By default, each episode stops at “Review the story before production”: nothing is produced without your approval. If you turn the review off, the episode goes all the way to the .mp4 on its own.

The topic queue

Two fields per topic:
  • Title: “Your topic, in one line” (120 characters).
  • Pitch: “A few lines to frame the episode (optional)” (600 characters).
Nothing to go on: the AI will have to invent everything.
The first topic goes out at the next slot. You can reorder the queue, set a topic aside, or ask the AI for suggestions (it costs credits, the price is shown on the button).

Common mistakes

  • Empty queue: the slot is skipped, nothing is charged.
  • Not enough credits or monthly cap reached: the slot is skipped, autopilot stays active.
  • Previous episode not finished or waiting for your approval: two episodes never overlap.
  • A topic unrelated to the cast: write the pitch with the series characters.
  • Engine or number of automatic series outside your plan: change plan or engine in the autopilot settings.
