These settings are made on the series page and apply to all upcoming episodes. The “Settings” tab holds the narrator voice and the intros and outros, the “Mascot” tab the portrait and the poses, the “Intros and outros” tab the opening and closing clips.

Voice direction

In “Narrator voice”, choose the voice for all episodes, then fill in “Acting direction” (300 characters). It is a sentence that says how the voice performs: the pace, the energy, the tone.
Neighboring settings on the same screen: “Continuous narration” (the voice flows with no pause between shots), “Opening hook” (shot 1 says a hook line), “Burst hook” (a burst of images from the story at the start, 1 second). To create a custom voice, see Voice.

Mascot

The mascot is a character drawn once, which reacts at the bottom of the frame when the voice calls it. It is designed for explainer formats (see How it works). In the “Mascot” tab, fill in “Mascot description”: “Who it is, its style, its colors. One sentence is enough.”
The field accepts up to 400 characters. The sequence: “Draw the portrait”, you check it, then “Draw the 8 poses”. The portrait is the model for the poses: if you change the description, redraw the portrait first. Each pose is a cut out image. Drawing costs credits (the portrait and the 8 poses make 9 images, redoing one pose costs one image); once drawn, the mascot costs episodes nothing more. The “Mascot in episodes” switch (presets tab) turns it off without losing its poses. In a script, you call the poses with [MASCOT] and an English pose name: explains, surprised, thinking, thumbs up, laughs, shocked, secret, waves. See On-screen overlays.

Intros and outros

An intro or outro is a short clip stuck at the start or the end of the episode, chosen for each episode. On the “Intros and outros” tab, “New intro or outro” asks for:
  • Position: start or end.
  • Displayed name (40 characters, optional): the name of your account for example. Empty, the series name.
  • Lightning at the end (start only): two flashes and a thunderclap, then the video starts.
  • With music and Music style (300 characters, optional): a short theme under the clip. Empty, a theme matched to the series tone.
Generating an intro or outro uses credits (an image, a short video clip, and a music track if you turn it on) and takes about 3 minutes; you can leave the page. You can also import one made elsewhere (MP4, MOV or WebM, 100 MB and 20 s at most): it is free. Deleting an intro or outro doesn’t touch episodes already edited.

Common mistakes

  • Describing the mascot in three words: the AI invents the rest, and pose 5 no longer looks like pose 1.
  • Naming an artist in the music style: describe the genre and the energy.
  • Writing text to display in the name of the intro or outro: the field is only a name.
  • Drawing the poses without having reviewed the portrait: check it first, it fixes the 8 poses.
  • A voice direction that changes at every episode: fix it here, it is reused everywhere.

Settings that go with it

  • Series music: “My music”, reused on every episode without being regenerated.
  • Burned in subtitles and accent color of the cards: the series presets tab.
